Taquería Lagos looks and feels authentic when you walk in. It has colorful decor on the walls, and a salsa bar. I find the staff, and the cook, friendly. I wouldn't say warm and fuzzy, but friendly. My favorite item is the bacon breakfast burrito. It's delish. My son loves the carnitas burrito, but you can't go wrong. The salsas are fresh, and some pack a punch. Their menu has a great selection, offering something for everyone, whether you're a meat lover or prefer vegetarian options. Overall, I enjoy the combination of a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. If you live in the neighborhood, it needs to be on your list.

The service is friendly, the food is ready quickly, and the menu is authentic and delicious. I've had the taquitos, burrito, and chicken enchiladas with green sauce -- hands down the best enchiladas I've had in my life! I can't wait to come back and try the chilaquiles some day for breakfast.

I was craving a good burrito, so I tried this restaurant I had it delivered. I enjoyed it and it hit the spot. I ordered a super burrito. It was good size and satisfying. The order came with the chips and two types of salsa. I'm not 100% sure I would go back only because I have had better Mexican food from other places. But this restaurant will do in a pinch.

Great food and the flavors are spectacular! My wife ordered green sauce but they gave her red. I however, ordered the red sauce. I had a Michelada with Pacifico Beer. It was delicious. I had a burrito and an enchilada with carne Asada. My wife had a Chile relleno and a chicken enchilada. Both of our dinner plates were served with beans and rice. We dined in, so we were served chips and salsa.

They never disappoint. Best most original flavor profiles in Modesto. Always fast, friendly and fresh.

Just finished eating a delivery from this place. It started out very boring. My enchilada plate was average and the salsa was a little bland. They cancelled the tamale in my order, so I was actually a bit let down, ready to write this place off as another, "meh." Then I bit into a sope. It was the highlight of my day. Crispy on the bottom and edges, perfect texture throughout, and packed with flavor. Delicious in every way and one of the best I have ever had. My mood went from neutral to happy in one bite. Overall, nothing was bad but I'll skip enchiladas next time. Those sopes, though. They are worth going back to. I can't wait until next time I need to order dinner so I can just get a pile of those sopes.
